A long time, we all had to go though it, you will to.

We all have our inner noob. Join the NJL, and have more fun!
I believe society is flawed; our notions on life, on child rearing, stem too far back to be of relevance in this day and time.

It's almost totally random, but can be affected by how much the mods like you

Nah, theres a minimum amount of time, and a minimum number of posts ... don't ask what they are set to - Rich keeps it secret even from us mods.

I think mine was like....

nothing .

Mainly because back in '04 there was no "Flame-protection-system" on. Mind you, I could have used it back then .

Mine took about 2 weeks; and it was irritating, so we know how you feel. It shouldn't be too much longer, just keep posting.

Mine was quite fast, like the mod says it depends how much they like you. If you go about posting nonsense threads you might never get out of moderation, but if your nice helpful then it'll be quicker. btw your not supposed to post asking about this.

I am still on mod watch,

I am just wondering why they do this, most other forums I go to don't... They just make you read the rules before or after you join. And if you violated a rules, they PM you, warn you, or if it's something with your sig, they just remove it.

We do this because of past posting incidents with spamming, and posting of porn and pirated software - few people trying to cause problems have the patience to wait out the introductory period.
