You have to wait more than ten minutes before someone answers you.

You don't even have to give out the I.P. I suggest you just make a game, give a friend a copy, and host a game. Have him join it, and test it out for yourself.

They do connect through your IP, but it shows up in the join game menu, so you don't have to give it to them.

If people have made multiplayer games we might need a thread with links so you can download them and approximate times the host will be online to play so we can play them together.
I would like to try a multiplayer game sometime.

WAN is a Wide Area Network.
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/W/wide_area_network_WAN.htm
First link on Google.com after searching the term WAN. Next time, you try it.

"One World, One Web, One Program" -Microsoft ad.
"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer"(One People, One Kingdom, One Leader)-Adolf Hitler.

Yep. Host a game and people see it, and then they can either type in the name that you supplied, or type in your IP, which is shown.

can you just answer this straight forward

if i make a multiplayer game and i give out the .exe online like here

you guys can just download it

and im already hosting a game...you guys will be able to see it without typing anything in *IE ip* and connect?

if so
if other people host my game will everyone see my hosted game and theirs?

Sorry to confuse you, Blood. To answers your questions:

Yes to all.

If I have the exe to your game and you're currently hosting it, all I have to do is open the exe, click JOIN GAME, and your game will appear in a list of games in progress, which I can join.

My MP game isn't working. I only had two people (my friend and I) in the same game. It said waiting to start... and I waited an hour, but it didn't start! Not cool. Thx for the help, Jim.

EDIT: It said "If using WAN the host must..." in the Alt+Tab window which I used to switch from my game to America Online Instant Messenger (AIM). I can't read the rest. Help me out plz. Thx, Jim.
