1. if i'm guessing right, you're talking about UV mapping, in which case, thats a whole can of worms you need to open

2. dunno, i don't have milkshape, but i imagine it should do it automatically.

3. the export part of the file menu.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

export it as a .X file with the following export options (view button)

ms3d files are milkshapes own format. By using export > DirectX (JT) you can export your model in a .X file. (3ds also has an exporter).
