Does FPSC support bump and/or normal mapping? If so how can I add these to my models/textures? Is there a program I have to get or buy?

Its called Dark Basic PRo....
But if FPSC can support it...there is a program that makes noramal maps in WIP...(WIP = Work in Progress)
Or you could always get The Gimp which has a normal maping plug-in...

Well if DBP supports it and FPSC was programmed in DBP then I guess that implies that FPSC supports it too. Also I think I've seen normal maps in the texture bank .

I figured out how to make normal maps, but how do I apply them to the model?

I think what I do is specify the texture in the .fpe and use the bump effect (bump.fx). Am I correct?

I know there is no way FPS can do this, but have you all heard of Parrelex-mapping? They use it in some of the new games. FEAR, Oblivion, come to mind, but it is mapping that gives DEPTH. For example, the bulletholes in FEAR look like real holes even if you look at them from the side or what ever angle, but the wall is still just flat. Just thought I'd through that out there, I thought it was cool.

Mr.Love can you elaborate. Does FPSC calculate the normal map itself? Do I just have to apply bumpent.fx to the model's texture? Can someone help me out please?

Yes, it is a fx file that fix this automatic. You have to choose Your special-effect in the entitys-meny. Take a look at the Characters bumpmaps, and follow the path so You can see how TGC did it. No probs....
