okay heres a good question how come when i hit test game for a simple lvl that has about 30 dynamic objects in a SMALL area that can all be seen with a simple left or right turn of the mouse and i get like 12 FPS. then i build the game and i get 32 fps at the lowest?

Testing a game from within FPSC is much more demanding then a build game. It sounds like you just don't have enough memory to work in FPSC and test a game.

Whn working in FPSC and testing a game, you're actually running a demanding 3D application from within another demanding 3D application. If your system isn't up to that, the test level will not run smooth at all.

But when you run a build game you do not run from within another application, you run a single application .

well id imagine its not my cps problem...considering the most ive ran without lag was

Battlefield 2
photoshop 9
adobe shop
3ds max
and half life 2
without any - little lag



( i was taking models from half life two exporting and making diff textures for em and putting em in bf2
