In 3D World issue 78 theres a free full copy of Shade 7LE Designer,I've just been playing around with the MagicalSketch tool its really nice to draw something in 2d and have it come out in 3D.
Its gotta be worth the £6.00 for the mag.

I know , didn't know you bought the magazine, you should pop over the forums and say hi at some point, I'm still known as my old username there.

Shade does look cool, I'll prolly buy this months mag sometime during the week.

Oh and I've found with 3D World Mag when it says LE, there are usually restrictions like with Real Flow LE where you can't use it commercially and has functions missing, what about Shade?

I can't see any usage restrictions apart from the media content supplied.In the mag it says Shade 7 Designer LE as sold for $109.99 and is an introductory edition.

Yup, I got my copy of shade7 yesterday thanks to 3D mag. I've also gotten loads of other tools like Truespace 4, Vue d'spirit 4, Bryce, and Ampai 6. Lots of great tools that have most the features of their modern counterparts.

Going to try out shade now.



A book? I hate book. Book is stupid.
