Ok, people. Attached is a sample weapon made with WC. Please tell me how it works, and take screenshots of anything 'intresting'. This is the tavor that came with FPSC, only customized in Weapon Creator. just unzip and copy each file to the correct locations.

The entire process was automated, except for the following:

1.)Copying the Hud icon ::Being FIXED
2.)Removing an extra "." in some of the file names ::FIXED
3.)Making the 64x64 preview images ::FIXED

All these are either being worked on, or already finished, as is the case with number 2.


Please Test!

Making sure this works is essential to the release of Weapon Creator.

P.S.

If anyone feels up to it, It'd help to have a small level utilizing this weapon.

Here's the reasons for everything problem you posted:

1.) That because I didn't use the positioner
2.) hmm.. Please explain in depth
3.) That's an option, I turned it off, because personaly, I hate the glow.

The weapon and ammo entities are non-textured...other than that it looks good.

OK loooking back at your old thread I'd asked you to contact me either on my site on the live chat deal or by PM'in me on the forums...Unless I had set up your email addy to get to me it was automaticly deleted. Right now I'm not ready to compile the positioner, but I'd like this compiled. It's Entity SnapShot, a small Sub-Program of Weapon Creator. It makes the 64x64 entity preview images. I've decided to give Entity Snapshot out free, cuz it's so simple. So when you compile it, you can just attach it to your post in this thread for all to download.

#Intructions#

1.)copy the entity that you want to take a picture of to the Entity Snapshot folder.
2.)Rename it to "e.x"
3.)Run the program
4.) the Snapshot will be placed in the Entity Snapshot directory

#Controlls#

Mouse -- Rotate entity -- move entity up and down
Mouse wheel -- zoom in or out
Left & right arrows -- move entity left or right
MouseClick -- Take Snapshot


NOTE:

The attached zip is the source only. Once somebody(aka locrian) decides to compile it, then you can download Entity Snapshot.

i meant like a slower rate of fire in the sound i belive unless you made it where it shoots so many per shot

if it was supposes to be the same rate of fire as the original then something with the sound is srewed up

Code I told you I don't have any experiance( asside from a few of the tutorials...this not dose a DBPro make) . Ive got no clue what y7ou want me to do. You need to tell me step by step what you want and as you see by this image

I have no idea why your image for the exe comes out all screwed up. Maybe that image has some od water mark or im saving it in a bad format for dbpro..I've got no clue since I never use it. I've in the past compiled things from tuts and never had this happen. Anyways I guess if all ya wanted me to do was compile it here it is. If you can fix it by putting in some model tear it up.

ok, here's step by step:

1.)In the 'settings' pane:

A.)Set 'Application Window Caption' to "Entity Snapshot"
A 1/2.) Set 'File Description' to "Entity Snapshot"
B.)Set 'Display Settings' to Windowed -- 800x600
C.)Click 'Version Information -- Edit'
D.)Set 'Copany Name' to "Steffen Game Studios"
E.)Set 'Legal Copyright' to "(C) 2006 Steffen Game Studios"

2.)As for the Icon, just use the attached

I had no problem killing the bad guys up close but I couldn't hit them from a distance.Maybe I just have poor aim.

Code, there must be something were missing with what type of file the icons got to be( say 8 bit,16 bit w/e) but heres your zip. Apparently you have to have all the textures in there too? cause the models plain white but it works.

Also you may wanna make some way to change the entities depth of field as the left and right arrows seem to move it as stated but you cant get the whole entity into the little flickering screen. That function may be in it so you may want to add a readme as I couldnt find the controls to move the .x in or out.

Use the mouse Wheel. Ooops, that could be a potential problem. Ho many of you don't have a mouse wheel? That icon thing is weird, I guess I'll download an Icon changer/editor, and play around with it. Yeah, I'll add a readme someday...
