I've finished the pack and i can't think why i shouldn't bring foward the release date so, as of this moment (9:32 GMT) my pack is released to the public...
################################
Avenging Eagle's Crosshair Pack

What is crosshair i hear you ask? Play any FPSC game and you'll see a white cross in the middle of screen to let you know where you're aiming; that is crosshair.

But a white cross? For every single weapon in FPSC? Its a bit boring isn't it? Want some variety?

My new crosshair pack includes 40 crosshairs the work in FPSC almost instantly and tutorial on how to get them into your game quickly and easily. There are crosshairs for every genre; some for sci-fi game, some for horror games, WWII, modern day, fantasy, what ever kind of game your game is, you're sure to find something in this pack.

And all this for just £2? It can't be true...
Well...it is: Watch the Promotion video here
################################

So, if you want to impress your audience or you want some variety then you can go Here to purchase it for the small price of £2 / $3.60

Enjoy,
AE

You made that very nice video but it doesn't show off many of the crosshairs. Maybe you should make an image of all the crosshairs so people can see if there is any they can use. I am making a wild west cartoon game and don't know if any of yours will be good with it.

If A.E.'s a member, it can get mentioned in the O.G. Newsletter (as I am creating it as I type this). I don't see any reason not to mention it in the FPS-Files Newsletter either (am I doing that, Matt?).

UPDATE:
Today, well actually Monday, marks the "one month mark". Sales have been rare for the last two weeks but i have still notched up £20.69 is profit, even with PayPal taking 27p off of every purchase

The website will now play host to whatever other pack i decide to come out with. The WWII weapons pack seams popular so i'm going to continue with that, however, the crosshair pack will still be on sale.

I doubt i will get many more sales as the ripple effect of Benjamin A's thread has made everyone start making their own crosshairs. They get the crosshairs that are right for them so there's no need to purchase my pack. I'm not too unhappy though, £20.69 is very respectable for a £2 pack.

AE
P.S: the website (http://www.freewebs.com/tannerproductions now has a donatation page

I have friends that spend countless hours in frount of a computer with photoshop and others and you know how you have the words theft protection behind your crosshairs they would erace that then put it into their games and you slipped up and some post it was just black.

I trusting them not to steal them then.

When i made my sig, i made it out of lower-quality, re-sized (smaller), and watermarked images. On top of everything else, its a jpg which means compression will but bad.

If they would like the crosshair pack they can buy it like everyone else. You'd have to be pretty sad to steal a crosshair...

Even though there are tutorials up now, I still bought your pack... Mainly because it was reasonably priced and saved me the effort of having to do it all myself... Good work, they look great in my game...

I also don't remember you ever saying it was hard to do the crosshairs, which i think it what some people here would like us to believe... I didn't think I was being foolded[sic] I thought I was getting good value for money and the time i saved making crosshairs are going into making my game...

once again... top job

I said it was tricky...

# The crosshair has to be .tga
# It has to be in the gamecore\guns\whatever gun
# You have to delete the .dds crosshair (the default one)

Not too tricky but its alot of founder browser and thats just boring...

I was thinking about producing a cross hair pack but when i started it wasn't so much of acctually putting them in the game but thinking of what i want the crosshair to look like. you on the other hand have the imagination to make one and make it look good just for kicks here are my crosshairs. see what i mean about imagination and trying to make a quality crosshair. what i mean is it is hard to think of a crosshair to do.

btw i am doing these in paint.
tell me what you think maybe i could make some $$$ in the USA

I guess you're not from England. My Mum is from Kent to theres a bit of East London crawling in there and my Dad is from Wiltshire in the west. Estuary English meets Carrot Cruncher to form...ME!

I also spoke quite low so it would be more difficult for people to work out what age i am.

@jthtiger:
Yes, i had that problem too. I got to about crosshair 28 and i thought "i'm out of ideas...and i've still got to make another 12! But suddenly, i had an explosion of creativity and came up with the last 12 and thought of more (but didn't have the time to make them).

@ jthtiger 2006:
They were pretty basic and quite square-y too. Strangely, most of mine were circular is some way just as most of your's were boxy (pic attached).

@ Sunday213:
Good guess, i'll be 15 in August. But i wanted to sound older because
1) It sounds more proffessional
2) If a teen does a V/O for something serious, everyone just laughs...
