about half an hour worth of work in wings. around 1100 polys, with alot of that in the landing gear and seams between airfoils and fuselage

i tried and it didnt work, edited now to display pics in thread.

You want extreme realism? I would just bodge the physics, meaning just make it look right by trial and error.

but im a pilot that just wouldnt do for me lol
i dont want extreme realism but i dont want to make the framework myself. i did it for a small space sim and dont want to do it again. i want to take unlimited class aerobatics to a new level (backwards flying, stall turns, etc..)

its not bad but meshsmooth is really unneeded, as you could have easily just started off with a rounder fusalage and extruded out from that, unless you optimize it afterwards cause your wasting quite alot of polys currently.

1000 polys for a plane with gear is not bad at all. this was mostly just an excersice in meshsmooth optimization and keeping quads
