Does lockback buffer permenatly lock your backbuffer for ever until you unlock it or can you unlock it again by restarting your computer?

Of course restarting the computer will unlock the backbuffer... The locking system will stay until you unlock it yourself - which you MUST do...
It may be unlocked if you ALT+TAB, but I think thats doubtful.

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

you can unlock it by restarting your computer... however its like array's and memblocks really

if you don't make sure you wipe them when you exit DarkBasic Pro then they'll stay resident within the memory.
its a pitty it isn't possible to put a nestling error on the Lock & Unlock commands as they will just open up these data sections to the whole computer and cause memory leaks if not used properly ... so i'd suggest you use them with a little caution
