Heyla all,
I've had a history of making very cubic placeholders for things in the past - cows in particular. So I wondered if I could populate a whole environment with 'placeholder' style models.
I give you (in my moment of silliness)
Mr & Mrs Placeholder, on Cuboid Farm!
(And their dog, Block.)
As you can see, Mr and Mrs Placeholder and old fashioned farmers, neither of them on the right side of the hill any more (Mr Placeholder should really cut down on the pies, and Mrs Placeholder really ought to exersise more!). They own and run a small farm, with an orchard, a couple of grain fields and some cows and sheep (maybe chickens, if I can get them looking right). They have a lovely, and very affectionate working dog called "Block".
However, as you can also see - they have a goblin problem. Or maybe the goblins have a farmer problem. Who can say who's right when cultures collide.
Anyway - my moment of silliness. No idea if I'm going to do anything with the Placeholders, Goblins and Cuboid Farm, but it's fun to play with.
(For you number crunchers - done in Max (rendered using light tracer, makes anything look good), with a total scene poly count of 786. Goblins are 108 each, Mr is 156, and Mrs is 180, with little Block at 108, just like the gobbos.)
