Google has a program called sketchup, and i like it alot, its the only program i can model in, and verywell. but it only saves in .skp, does anyone know of a converter?

Last I looked the full version of Sketchup costs @ $500. It is easy to model in, I've messed with it off and on for almost a year now. There is no converter for the free version; but the pay version saves in a useable format.

Yeah, you can save your file as 3ds which you can convert using the 3ds to x converter when you have the full version.

what do you mean "cant use commercialy" does that mean that all the stuff i make with SketchUp cant be used in commercial games?!?

You'd need to convert them first; I believe the free version has no converter from it's native format.

According to the exporting data on the site here; you can only export in .kmz format, using the free version. You'd have to get the Pro version in order to export the .3DS model. There is no "home" version; it's either the Free version, or the Pro version. I didn't want you getting your hopes up.

Well, I would seriously have a look at the license agreement before using a "loophole" to produce material that can be distributed, free or otherwise, to the community.
