After downloading the trial version, I'm thinking of buying this program. But I'm not sure if it has some of the things the old engine i used had. So I have a couple questoins-

Can you have seperate views...like splitscreen?
Can you make things visible in one view but not the other?
Can you pause a function for one frame...like a wait(1) command to wait a frame?
How come my mdl and md2 models look real funky when i load them?
Does the new patch increase speed a lot, cause i'm only getting 20 fps?

and this isn't as important, but can you find out which tile by x,z your on by your absolute position in the world.

Thats about all i can think about right now. Thanks ahead of time to anyone who helps.

1. You can have multiple cameras, which would do what you want in 3D. For 2D its even easier...
2. Doubtful if your using multiple cameras
3. Yes, if you do your own animation. If not, its a bit harder...
4. Really funky ? Do you mean great ?
5. Yes it does, my test program jumped from 3fps to 70 with one camera and 30 with 2.

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...
http://www.nickk.nildram.co.uk/ for great plug-ins - oh my, yes!

Aright thanks, but that doesn't answer it all
1- not like just 2 cameras that you can switch between but like splitscreen...if you meant that than cool
2- damn thats too bad
3- I don't mean pausing a model for one frame, but like stopping the function for 1 frame...like if i wanted to wait until another variable was set:
until a = b then wait(1) (im not sure if this is right coding but im new)
4- Nope, i mean like parts missing, no texture, flipped sideways, and junk like that...works fine if a import the same model to and .x file...but anything else it's crazy
5- sounds nice
