A tutorial that is possible to finish the whole model in 10 minutes.
Yes!!! Modelled, UV mapped, and textured in ten minutes. The model is very simple though.

For a better understanding of Anim8or try the Eggplant tutorial on the Anim8or website!!!

My Lithunwrap tutorial continues here if you want to skip making a gun....

Remember how to extrude, and scale, you need this at the end.

Well, it's the most simple gun you can imagine, but most of these techniques can be used to make a very realistic gun with a trigger, and many other details.

By going into Build/Subdivide. You can quickly imrove the quality of
the gun, but some faces need to be creased first by selecting them, and going into Edit/Edge properties/ Rounded level 1.

Lithunwrap tomorrow to WRAP things up.

Nice tutorial Pincho Paxton! I will try this and let you know what results I get, I've never used Anim8or before so this should be interesting

Can't wait for the lithunwrap tutorial, that program confuses me

Thanks,

danielp

Its a good starter tutorial, however as Insanity Complexe's hand tut was criticised in the same way, is the quality of the model, its rather basic and isn't too flexible, it still is a great tutorial for uvmapping and texturing, however I would try a differant approach on the gun modelling part (as there are uncessary polygons and it looks like if I were to pick it up, it would hurt my hand) I would have tried a specific gun and referance image to go along...

good work tho

Yey! I removed the sig...

Hmmm yeah. I could have started off with an extruded hexagon. Oh well my first model in Anim8or had about 37000 polys. It's just a start.
