I saw a picture of flying car someone had modelled on the Hexagon website and decided to try making it myself in blender. Here is my result:

Crit Appreciated.

it looks great, when I read the title I actually though 'maybe he's modelled the Hexagon one' who would think one of my random thoughts would turn out to be true.

Lol it would pretty bad fps ill tell you that. Im on a mac and I don't feel like exporting to a db format and booting up my crappy windows just to freeze it with a low fps program lol.

I dont mean to be the "hater" or whatever but... It just doesnt do it for me... Yes it does look "real", but... well it isnt the sexiest car on the market lets put it that way

It kind of looks like you box modelled it and then just applied like 3 smoothers, please dont take this as being mean or anything its just my opinion, and since you're posting on the forums Im assuming you're looking for opinions so, here's mine

Ofcourse since you modelled it to look like another model thats something different, perhaps if you linked to the originial model we could compare it better?

Thanks for the crit ruccus I probably would have made it look a little less boxy if I was following my own design but I was curious about how blender's workflow compared to hexagons so I tried to make mine pretty similar. I think now that I have the basic process in mind I'll make another more original model. For those interested I made this by watching the time-lapse movie of the flying car on the hexagon website.

My card could handle it. I've run 50k+ polys with no trouble on my old card!

EDIT: by the way, amazing model!
