While making a sipmel cube model in Anim8or, I've always been irritated by this problem; only two of the six sides are mapped correctly. It's as the texture is stretched out along the sides, and it's really not a fiest for the eye... I've fixed this by cutting out the four "parts" that isn't correct mapped and then copy, paste and rotate the correct parts, but this isn't a good nor effective way.

Is there a way to fix these problems?

Use Lithunwrap, and make a box uv map.

I think I tried Lightunwrap once. Doesn't it cost money, or is it freeware?

Somebody posted it last week, but I can't remember it. Maybe you can find it in search.
