I know how to use alpha channels in Paint shop pro..But I need a texture halfway invisible and not totally invisible..? Can someone please tell me how? Thanx!

if i remember correctly you can not do this, but you can do it with huds etc by making the the background colour black not sure if it works with textures.

If you use Gimp you can change the trasparancy of the layer(s).I assume all the paint shop type programs have an option like that.

When you make your alpha layer, black is transparent, white is opaque, and shades of grey are varying degrees of transparency. Works for me... BUT, you cannot apply a semitransparent texture to a sign (it just goes opaque)

Okay! Thanx...Ill try that..Now i just need to figure out how fpsc's makers got their decals transparent...

Have you imported semi transparent textures you made with gimp?
caus when i make a texture semi transparent it looks transparent in paint shop, but then when i convert it to dds format all it does is make the texture brighter!

Any other suggestions? PLEASE?!

I tried it and my problem is it makes the texture semitransparent but the wall is still opaque.I am working on it now,though.I will let you know if I figure it out.
