I'm new with Blender and started out making a simple snowman (two spheres and a cone). When I exported it to .x and tried to put it in my dbc code, it only showed the cone. After I looked at the export window, i noticed there were two directx export .x tabs. Can someone please tell me how to export the entire model and not just the cone???

I believe that you need to join all the objects before exporting. (ctrl-j) I would save a different .blend for the joined version as it is a little difficult to unjoin them once joined.

I joined all three objects but still, the cone is all that shows up. There are four different kinds of directx exports (animation only, meshes only, selected object, and all the scene). Which do I use???

select all the objects, and use the 'selected objects' option. I havent exported in a while so i'm not sure which one...try the entire scene as well...

I figure out my problem. I didn't make to two spheres as meshes. So all I did was make new UVspheres and it now works. (hehe newbie error) Anyways, thanks for your help everyone, I'll post my first model tomorrow for some friendly criticizm!
