Newcomers DBPro Corner / Realtime travel/loading?

What would be the best way to do Morrowind/MMORPG style loading in DBP? Do they have one large terrain cut into pieces then loaded? I am not sure how you would do this in DBP. Pausing while loading is fine, I just want to know how to organize code and media for that so it shows up right.

just make a matrix thats HUGE and heightmap it and texture,then theres you world part.

Then place models on it and place a part where you will be teleported with a loading screen.

yeah,possible.i think.

You could have a scrolling matrix which wouldn't have to laod and load models at diffenet distances depending on importance.

e.g.
Static objects could be loaded at 10,000 units
Player objects could be loaded at 1,000 units
Active objects could be loaded at 500 units
Pickup objects (health and ammo) could be loaded at 100 units

You could load the different objects seperatly at differnt intermissions.

Kind of complex but it could make it quicker and make the worlds look bigger.

A huge matrix will slow down the computer a lot. Search for advance terrain.

well,im making a morrowind type game right now. i plan on seperating the map into differnt pieces like in morrowind,using the heightmaps,but loading them at a distance. only thing is that im using newton for my game,so it will be slow as heck for loading.i'll use fog,and the camera distance so whatever is behind those i will hide.i might as well actually just set up the collision for everything right away though,but in dbp without newton physics,you should be pretty happy with the loading them at different zones.

all ben needs is his band,his guitar,and his computer...
and his dead little power puff girls...
