Sorry if this question seems stupid. I haven't really followed First Person Shooter Creator.

nope...

there is no actual player model behind the camera, so it would be kindof hard.

you could maybe make your player model a weapon...but that would be very weird.

Check out the 3d Gamemaker on TGC's website. You should be able to create something with that.

Thanks uman. I hope that they expand it to do that.

I understood by the title that FPSC wasn't made to be a 3rd person shooter, I just wondered if it could be done. I never looked at it so I don't know how much control you have. I was hoping that you could just have a player in front of the camera.

For now I'll just stick with DBpro.

Why?

We all have our inner noob. Join the NJL, and have more fun!
I believe society is flawed; our notions on life, on child rearing, stem too far back to be of relevance in this day and time.

How about changing the hud or target thing to an image of the back of someone? A way to fake it? I don't know, I don't have full version of FPSC, so I don't know. You can alway use Game Maker from Mark Overmars if you want a free software to do that? But be warned, that program is meant for 2D game, just that it support a little 3D.

@zenassem They give you the source code for the FPSC engine. You can modify it to use 3rd person with DBP 5.9 if you like.
