I have not yet purchased Darkbasic yet, but i want to know wether you need any other software appart from darkbasic to create a full 3D game.
I am a complete begginner so i do not have a clue.
(and be honest)

Well, if you want to create plug-ins/DLL's you'll need Visual C, Pascal or something like that.
You may also need a (free) BSP editor, music creating software, perhaps a 2D tile creating program (Mappy is nice and free) and perhaps a 3D editing package (many are free/cheap).
