For starters i know im a newb.

just bought the software.

1st question: How do i skin a model so i can therefor make into a .x and use the skin is used in the editor after i convert it from 3ds format (tutorials would be great)
2nd: how do i open a plugin like texporter (i dont even know how to use it)

Help me !

Ive been learning the ins-and-outs of 3DS Maxes UV Mapper for the last week or so and I've got to say its the best Mapping tool I've ever used.

Here's an excellent tutorial on creating your first mapped object, it also references key methods you should keep in mind while mapping and has a lot of images to go along with it;

However, if you're just starting out in 3DS Max, I highly recommend you look into the tutorials that come with it on modelling before you even touch UV mapping.

since you have 8, you don't even need texporter, just go to tools> export UV template in the unwrapper. For future reference though, drop the plugin file into the plugin directory, it'll load next time you start max

your other question is too big and somehwta incomprehensible. and to export .x, you'll need the panda exporter.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Your just thinking to hard which is annoying me right now doom. If the uv's match the texture, then the texture will fit that model in any format, if you keep max's uv coordinates.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

Actually, mate, If i recall your not alowed to resell your licence of max.
I think either you have lied about your purchase, or have bought an illegal copy and paid for it.
your not allowed to resell max.
how much did you get ripped?

I think you got ripped off, when it comes to commerce time your going to find it hard to sell your media or use it
