We finally released the first (May '06) Newsletter for Ozark Games today:

O.G. May Newsletter

This is a starter Newsletter that we decided to make available to everyone; following issues will be for members only however. One of the features we will be instituting will be to showcase a particular software (probably one for programming, one for an engine, and one for design/artwork). I think FPSC fits the bill for an engine showcase, among others. If this level competition takes off, it will be a regular entry as well. We've got quite a few members who work with FPSC right now, and like to show off their work, and share a bit of advice now and then.

Anyways, be sure to check out the newsletter when you get a bit of time.

-Keith

Thanks, Returned. This was a kind of "Bare-bones" issue; I'm looking forward to really filling out the next one, both in content, and layout/looks. We'll be highlighting a lot of different commuities, individuals (members), and applications; as well as the beginning of our official Game Review section (we'll be reviewing Indy games as well). I'm pretty pumped about next month's issue.

I like the Torque models idea. Think you'll ever put anything Medival Fantasy out?

For a first issue, this is a good start.

Sorry I missed your posts guys. We decided on a release date of the 1st of every month (yes that means in 2 weeks ), that's the easiest to remember. This issue is going to be quite a nice one, and it's only going to get better. We've got quite a few FPSC related things going in for June as well.

Thanks for the offer, Ali, but we've got things handled in-house for now; if things change, however, I'll remember your name and offer.

Is it too late for you to include info about EZEC and/or EZSC?

We're pretty jam packed with materials this month (including quite a bit on FPSC Packs and Applications), but I've got you a slot reserved for next month's (July Issue). It should give you enough time to polish things off. As the time approaches (which is now the 1st of every month), I'll contact you about it.
