Hello

The game speed is verry slow
I made a outside map there are just 3 mountains grass ground (only a small peace) and 4 enemeys but the game runs so slow! when i press space it takes 7 seconds to actually jump

Another map i made inside with no special stuff or much things (just 4 rooms and 4 enemeys) is also a bit laggy

i build the game with
* no lightmaps
* High texture
* No shaders
* No dynamic lights

My computer is runnen verry good, having no problems at all
3.2ghz
1gig of ram
gforce fx5000

Well i sure hope someone has a good solution

dont build things outside. Try looking through this forum, search (the box is at the bottom) slow.

If you're going to do outside scenes, do not place more then 2 visible enemies in the scenes. More then that will kill the game.

Outdoor scenes are very possible, I've done 1 in my game, a 40x40 tiles outdoor level and it runs 27-33fps all the time. But you need to apply a number of tricks to get them working well.

Use spawned enemies (in the scripting forum section you can find how to achieve those) or place small buildings or courtyards in the outdoors scenes where the enemies are in.

You can have 2 or at the most 3 in a room, but you can have many rooms if you want to.

My suggestion is, go here: http://www.gamefun4u.nl/page9.html download the demo and in the level after the trainings mission, count the total amount of enemies you encounter. When playing, press TAB and you'll see the framerate in the upper left corner.

I've tried to place as many enemies as possible without compromising the framerate, but as you can see in the demo, you can have a good number of them as long as you don't place them all in the same room or outside.

Dont build too big areas, it kills framerate.

hey, when i run mine i find it to go a bit slow as well, but i found a soluthion, and it's very easy. right click the start point arrow found in near the object and segment library and u will find that u get a menu just like when u click on an entity, it will give u fewer options but they are only necesary ones then u will see the speed of your guy on one of the lines (in case u don't realize this is based on ur guy in first person mode) u can also change the player sounds and stuff but most importantly to u u can change his speed, mabye change it to 200, it really depends how slow ur guy is going-

hope that helped.
