I didnt see any other way to contact this company so I had to leave a message in the forum...

I use poser 6 I would like to be able to import my objects from poser into this game engine. I do not see any way to do that unless I use an object converter. Which of course would kill the bones so can someone email me with an answere on this?

Thank
Kitten.

if you can get it to .3ds you can get it to .x.

If you can get it to .x you can get it into fpsc.

You can export the models as 3ds models and then convert them to .x easily.

The only problems are that the models available and used by Poser are multiple surfaces meaning you would have to retexure them. Then the next part would be to rig them so that FPSC animation files work for your characters or objects. It takes some time to get it right.

Also, considering that Poser is used mainly for creating still pictures - the polygon count on 99% of the models available are waaaay to high making it impossible to import them into FPSC.

that aside, It's Ilegal to use the meshes availible in poser. You can use 2d rendered images, but not the meshes themselves.

Poser models are EXTREMELY hi poly, and FPSC would die like Kenny. BUT, if you own MAX, or know someone with it, its not TOO dificult to get them in. If you'd like I can show/tell you how.
