Otherwise you need to wait 50 years until somebody makes a modeling program where you can take a picture and it will be a model.

Give a man some bullets, and he'll want a gun. Give a man a gun and he'll be giving away the bullets!!

Yes you can ! There is a program called Iclone and it is really cool.I got it about a month ago. You could output to an avi and use it in storyzone or if you have fpspack pro you can have it play while your game is loading.
There has to be another way to get the model out of Iclone and into an actual charactar in fpsc but I have not figured it out yet.

I just made a 3d animated video to one of my songs I am working on with Iclone and did a 3d animated model of me singing and stuff. FUN ! Great program ! Check out my 3d animated flash video at [href]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxID3C01Q7k

Iclone "by Reallusion" is very easy to use. I just had to buy it after the 15 day free trial ran out. You can do alot of stuff with this program ! I made the animated video to my song very fast and easy just to check it out. Making some stuff for my new game on it right now. It should be really cool ! Using fpspack pro to load the game and play the starting video while loading. Then I am making a couple cut scenes with it to put in as well.
It will also export your movie to .mp4 to play on the PSP ! Have done it and works great !
very fun stuff !!! Just letting all of you know so you can have fun with it as well ! Later, whyrag

Nice movie. Is that your voice? Don't quit your day job. lol.

Just kidding. Looks like it would make some nice additions to a game.

It's actually kind of easy. Take a picture of the front/angled/side view of your head, then blend them together and make a texture.

Then using PhotoShop or your favorite capable program, cut, resize and overlay your texture on top of an existing character texture and....Your in the game.

Just don't put your male head on a female body... unless you're into that.

no. the 3d gamemaker is the most limited product from the game creators. basically you choose a level, character, conrols and enemies, it places it for you. and as for the level editor... well, if you want the walls to be pink jelly buy the 3d gamemaker. anyways, you cant export the items ect from the 3dgm, i dont think...

' my cats breath smells like cats food' (ralph wiggum)
'purge your feelings' (darth vadar)
'a-ringdingding, dingadingabooowbaba a ringadingaDING,adingdingading!' (the crazy frog)

I simply retextured models with friends pics. It always looks a bit warped though. Like they just might be a few genes short of a chromsome.
