I have made a worl in 3d studio max(a room with furnitures etc etc.)i export it
in x format and i load it in dbpro.
all went ok,(polygons ,textures etc...)now i want to make collisions.
please help me...
any code snipet available? or any help?

sorry you are going to have a lot of problems trying to get .x world collisions to work.
i dont think that it is possible

Your best bet would be to convert your .x into .bsp using the bsp-pvs compiler that came with dbpro

that is if you can get it to work [img]:p[/img]

I have a word of advice...
..don't piss on an electric fence!

I haven't had any .X collision problems, and is probably more reliable than BSP at the moment...

any sugestion of how to do collision? i mean what is the idea of making collisions. any help?

The best way to do collision is to work out how far away all the objects are from each other and then, if any are so close that you need to check further, you switch on the internal collision checking, check for a collision hit, turn it off and then carry on with your loop.
What happens if two objects did/didn't hit is then up to you.

My only gripe with BSP is that it seems slower than the original games and sometimes you fall thru the floor. Apart from that I like BSP...
