The skysphere in this picture has become unwelded due to Anim8or I think. So what free modeller can I use to weld it back together again? I want the sky smooth. I tried blender but it doesn't import the anim8or 3ds files for some reason., and even if it did, I wouldn't be able to figure out how to weld it together. I know that max can do it, but I can't afford max. What else?

Wings 3D has a weld feature, though I've never used it (the weld command) so Im not sure of it's capabilities.

milkshape for 30 days has this feature $20 for a full version cant hurt.
unwrap3d for $50 will also do this, and allow for import export of milkshape files.
