Hi

I have a statue in my froggy town square. For some reason when I cast a light on it it does not light up. All my other models are lit where light is cast on them but this one. I dont see any difference in the models or lights I am using. All models and lights are static. There is no physics on any model. There is no other light casting on the statue but the one that is near the lamp post. This light lights the plants and ground but not the statue. I wasn't having this problem when I only had one light in the scene lighting everything before. But now whatever I do the statue wont light

Does anyone know whats going on with this? I hope I am giving enough info.

Attached is a screnshot of whats happening. I already tried increasing the light range, to huge even, but no luck with the statue. Everything else lit up.

Have you tried removing the dynamic light feature to see if it is still dark?

I would remove the statue also, and then replace it, save it without dynamic lighting and then reinstate dynamic lighting as you had planned.

BTW - love the western shooter with frogs.

I usually use static lighting.I find I have to design my level and then do the lighting.Afterwards I add entites. If I add some entites first they turn out dark like that.
Wyatt has a good idea.Take the statue out and put it back in.
BTW your game is looking good. Can't wait to try it out!

I think I tried everything. The only way I could get it to light was using dynamic lights. I don't get it. I guess I will use dynamic lights.

Maybe someone will pop in and assist here.Lighting can be a pain in the neck and I am by no means an expert on the subject.

Your advise is good. I just think it is something in the software. It seems that any single that is taller than one level is not lighting correctly in my scene with a static light. It happened on the watertower too. I dont think a few dynamic lights will kill it. No big deal.
