/sigh I was wrong.. I do have to ask for help again.

And thank you kindly so far x-d

Is there an alternative to the command "write memblock word"

The compiler is interpreting it as "write memblock", and it gets angry when it sees "word" instead of a file number.

sure 8)

When compiled, it says "Parameter for 'WRITE MEMBLOCK' do not match 'FILE NUMBER, MEMBLOCK NUMBER' at line 320"

It highlights the line that says "WRITE MEMBLOCK WORD(1,p,Init)"

Okay it was parenthesis... I'm sorry again.. When I type it here, for some reason I can see mistakes miss looking in the editor... I feel like such a ditz.. Sorry to be a pest.

That explains it. It compiles correctly without the parentheses and fails (again correctly) with them.

Don't worry. This was a big hurdle for me at first - I code in C++ too
