You can get excited I was when I first heard about it. For that matter, mostof us were very excited about it. But after waiting over 6 months for any sign of Riker9, the excitement has died.
No one around here knows if Riker9 is for real or not. No one around here has seen it, CB failed to release any proof of it.
My excitement completely died and turned into disgust after Cellbloc Studios promised for at least the fourth time to release parts of it within a week or so...... that was over 2 months ago.
The most funny thing is that the only people who claim to have seen Riker9 for real, have stopped using FPSC and abandoned it for a different game engine and left the community. Makes you wonder what they have seen at all, at least it's not worth waiting for at all, otherwise they could have waited a little while longer.
As AE said, at least we know TGC is working on an update and who knows what will be in it. Save/load is the major missing and most requested feature so it would be strange if they wouldn't work on a solution for it.
I'm very excited about FPSC, I love it, even as is. I'm very excited about the future of it and TGC working on an update and even version 2 is in the works. But.... I don't believe in fairytales called Riker9.
