After a few days of coding this program i decided to post a WIP threath,it might not be worth it yet but still.

My game Creation program DOESNT use any coding,it just uses simple keyboard commands to open up some imput commands to detirme wich Object number,scale position it has to have,UNFORTUNALNTLY, for now the text that says what it does,Just doesnt want to appear yet.As soon as i fugure out how that works ill post up a demo.Now there are some features it has now:

-Placing Objects.
-Give object your own number
-Full camera control.
-Scaling,positioning loose from the Make object part.
-Bad water
-3 different ground textures
-6 different textures for now.

Planned features:
-Object collision
-Showing the text
-A manual
-10 of your own models in the game.
-2 different tree models
-More object commands(like deleting it)

More to come.

its low quality textures.. try to make the quality better by loading png or bitmap formats and with quality flag of "1" inside the image load command. that should make the image quality as it is.

Ok, so you're making a gamemaker, but all you've shown us are some textured matrices. What about the interface?

So far, you haven't shown us anything that proves you have an editor. You could have just typed in some matrix code, which is not worthy of a WIP.

I'm not flaming, I'm just telling you where you're going wrong. Post some screens of the interface you're using to texture those matrices, and I can give some constructive crit.

THIS is my second project...
As i cant code quite well yet i thought i show what i can.

AND i worked more on features then on the 3D.

i already knew i would get these sort of comments.BUT still.
i am having 3 weeks of Experience with DBP and i am trying something i will make better within the years i use DBP.

Hopefully that makes it clear why i posted it.(

PS:i dont understand yet how to get heightmaps working)

if anyone helps me getting a plain to get the text to appear on ill post a demo,then the proof is there i did work well on it.(I RECODED IT 3 TIMES)

this is my second project in DBP and my DBP is so old...my dad kinda lost the order details so i was happy that it was still installed.

No, you only want to use the '1' flag if you're loading the image to use as a sprite or to paste to the screen. Using the '1' flag when loading 3D object textures will keep the mipmaps from being created, and it won't look as good as you zoom in and out.

no,you define the object number yourself,you can have unlimited stuff.As long as you dont call 2 objects the same.

ALSO:
User defined scales
User defined Positions by X,Y,Z axises.

What kind of games is this supposed to be able to make?

Maybe you should put this project on hold and work on a game. Mabye you could come back to this when you need an editor for a certain game you have. I just don't see it generating any interest.

Well, to be honest, I doubt a team will come beating down your door. There's nothing for a team to work on, at this point. What version of DBP are you using? Just upgrade.

I CANT UPGRADE!!!

then it asks for an email ETC to register ONLINE,BUT my dad lost all that info a year ago or something!!!!it was lucky this was still installed!!!

Also,im planning it to be an Adventure Game Engine,or FPRPG.

The serial code is ment to be on the cd. Anyway you wont get anyone for a team with this there are far far better projects that wont get teams.

lol that was like me i wanted to make an FPS so bad bu ti never finished it becasue of my programing skills. the i started doing things like a directory manager and a chat program. now thos helped me alot. especialy with functions.

MM, it's not that. You just need a little more WOW factor when you make a WIP thread.

Any WIP thread that doesn't look like much work into it isn't recieved well.

Don't sweat it, you're starting out with a lot of things, pretty soon you'll be making things that make people look twice.

Remember though, in order to make a game maker, you need to make some games first.

i am making one currently,but it will be a multiplayer Deathmatch game,i got cubes walking,terrain(With mountains this time!!!) and multiplayer(2 players) now on to collision!(Wich i cant do)

Master Mind, If you are new, don't immediatly start off with a game maker. I tried, failed miserably, lol. And, also, If you are new, don't
get into the multiplayer stuff unless it's multiplayer on the same computer. Too many Client Server commands (or am I thinking of Torque Game Engine, lol). Start with... let's say a text based RPG.
for example:
print "Name:"
input name$
etc...
