Ok, I've been looking at all the wicked awesome stuff you guys have been coming up with and I've decided that I want to start making my own models. My only problem is that I have absolutely zero knowledge of modeling, animating, etc. and so on. I have the Maya personal learning edition and a converter to change Maya's .dxf file format into the .x file format, and now I'm just wondering if anyone here who uses Maya could point me towads some really easy tutorials for it, or someone point me towards a modeling program that would be better suited to a beginner. Whatever I end up making I will be more than happy to share with the community .
