Ive been look at segment textures, and ive been gliding thru ideas and ive figured this idea would make games look more, light friendly
i dont know how to say it

but i gotta ask,

using Psp do you guys think this makes the enviorment look like its actually being lit by the wall lights which is part of the texture?

Yeah,
It looks good to me.
Although, I am sure others will disagree.
I like it.

ofcourse its good to do lighting in the texture, after all, thats all lightmaps are doing this is more accurate than lightmaps, you can create your own light, i think it is a great effect, one which i use alot

No, very no... for one the lighting is too strong, you should have it fade as you aproach the center of the room (also make it taller, feels... too small)

Second, your texture glows also hurts it, it looks like the lights are VERY weak, but the room is very bright...

i am gonna agree with merranvo, The source of the light is clear but why is the actual light itself weak? I think you should add lightmaps. the style of lighting you have does not match to the ambient lighting of the room.
