i kinda like cremepuffs ... thought i don't remember and Enchantedsoftware in the post - and i probably said something along the lines of
"compared to the SaS the Green Berét and Delta Force are creme puffs"

which even you've gotta admit would be a true statment because those SaS guys are f**king insane! I'm pretty sure in your training you never had a wet bag placed over your head, dunked in water for 3minutes, beat up a bit and then dumped in the woods tied up with the bag still over you head having to get back on base without being caught?

unless they're seriously changed the Green Berét training from what i remember.

not saying you shouldn't be proud, but there is always a branch out there which are a little more insane than you are.
kinda like the saying - there is always someone better, which is quite ironic really because oftenly the better guy than you is someone who is worse than another guy but you're better than so how you judge it i dunno
but thats always the way isn't it

Ok, then if there's always someone better then, My vote goes to the israeli army for extreme bad ass. Those guys (and gals) fight tough, and hard. They really know what soldiering is about.

Israel has been fighting for longer than the U.S and UK have existed. I really feel bad for them. I think they are a really proud, and great nation. And according to my religon at least, there His favorites too.

(^_^) ahh well ... they deserve to be proud, but i dunno alot of history the Israeli's have kinda been beaten everywhich way from Sunday. Does seem a little bit of a miricle they've survived this long. Personally i'd still side with the UK cause well i like them, or if we go further back the Vikings or even further the Egyptians

my kinda favourite fighting forces throughout history (^_^)

I think if we're gonna search history for the best fighting force, the winner would be ther Samurai. Before firarms and even a while afterwords they we unmatched, the even defeated the Mongools (spelling). Untill lazer sharpening came, the kanana was the sharpest and most durable swords ever maded, able even to cut through stone. They also had a very strict code of honor, the Bushido. One can hardly debait the straigth of the samuria in a ground battle.

well perhaps... but they weren't an army, more like a small band of Security Forces - because they never adheard to an one given army as that broke their code of honour (^_^)

ninja were just as deadly remember, the only real difference was one fought face to face and everything with true honour - whereas the other was a subverse and subtafuge, with the only guiding rule 'sucess at any cost'

there was another type called KaiJin, which were just really more legend that reality i think ... were warriors that we're governed by great structure of rules and honourably conduct, however were said to have intense abilities
there are some cool myths that came from the East.

but i'm not going for who i did cause they're the best - i'm just saying they're my favourites

Heh, my ancestors too were scots, I imagine this huge line of men in kilts, and an insane drone of hundreds of bagpipes, the people who fought them must have been terrified by that sound... The romans were pretty well organized, and you have to respect their tactical abilities, but you really have to admire egypt in it's prime, I read somewhere they once turned up to invade a country, and just said: hand over your treasure, or we're coming in, and walked away with everything(including the ark of the covenant) without having to lift a finger

Yeah they're ridiculous with their secrecy, always have been, it's like maybe it makes them seem more important, but the australian government has the worst habit of keeping info from it's own public, let alone the rest of the world.

There's an idea, I mean the us has got it's cruise missiles, but they can't possibly outdo a human being with a whole lot of c4 strapped to his guts, for accuracy I mean. I hear about 4000 human bombs are entering Iraq as we speak. But how about a battalion of crockadiles, chooks AND dolphins which you preaggravate then strap parachutes on, drop them on your target city, river or port harbour... Hey some angry monkees'd come in handy too

What's it matter who's command they're under? (suicide bombers) I mean they're not going into Iraq to play hopscotch are they??

Anyhow, the crock's wouldn't be able to be controlled either, so it'd be even
Funnel web's spiders would make great assasins, you could drop 'em from little remote controlled helicopters and fill em with smart drugs... tehe
Even better you could infect them with some bio agent (oh wait that's not kosher is it..

I Don't think mr. Irwin would do much good though somehow... He'd probably sit there and complain about the treatment of the animals....

dan why not use and altered form of BSE - that'd be Kosher, no pork used hehee (^_^)

Irwin would probably not do alot cept try to capture the animal ...
"no ya see, this Iraqi isn't trying to kill the croc right. What ya gotta do is jump it from behind, like this.
Now to really piss it off i'm going to jab my thumb up its ass!"

hahaa (sorry South Park moment )

LMAO yeah, Don't like to imagine what he does with 'em OFF camera

O.K so we've got funnel web spiders dripping with BSE, now I read about this tech where they implant electrodes into a mouse's pain and reward neural centres, and can basically remote control the thing about with a joystick.
Give that to the spiders, and I think you have soething close to the perfect assasin, though probably ebola would be a better choice of disease...
You could make them operate as several to a unit, so even if a few got squished the rest'd still be on track ugh this is getting scary...
