I created a game just now and I have some questions. I just got my programm today.

1. When I make a game where can I set how maney lifes? I don't want 99 lifes

2. How do I change the sounds/music?

3. Where can I make the main game menu?

4. If I wanna like make some 3D models useing other programs which do you suggest?

5. Can you make the yellow text at the bottom go away?

6. At the top left where it says life and lives and stuff, can you change the picture? I have seen it before.

7. And also how do u change the color of buildings?

I am new to this creator, but I have spent the last week working on and figuring out exactly MOST of the thigs you are asking.

I will answer the ones I know ..

1. NOT SURE

2. Changing sounds and music - if you are talking about when the game loads and such, you do that when you build the game. It will be listed in the "Levels" tab. Click edit next to the available areas and change the music there. As far as I know, the sounds HAVE to be in the audiobank/user directory. to create sounds in the game OTHER than the generic defaults, I use a Sound marker to activate the music and or sound I want when the user enters that area.

3. See Number 2.

4. There are a few...BUT to be honest, too expensive for me to mess with so I rely on the generosity of others for that unfortunatly.

5. The only yellow text I have seen is during the game/level testing. it reads out readings from the game itself. I have not seen those in the actual game build.

6. Yes you can, it's in the same area as #2 under the Global Script.

7. I use MagicFPS to create new segments. You have to purchase it, but for the meager asking price, it's a definate asset.

Just so you dont get a "STUPID NOOB" or "HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE" response like I recently did, I suggest using the search on the bottom of the page. That is honestly how I find just about any answer to most questions I have. 99% of the users in this forum are great people and dont mind pointing in the right direction or answering your questions. 1% need to be ...well..you get the idea.

GL with the game, explore the setting like I did. Whats the worst that can happen,,,a reinstall?

Right click on the Player Start (Green Arrow)and you can change the health and lives there.
