Dark GDK / VC++ 2003 compile errors

Hi im am trying to learn C++ and dark game at the same time.fool me
When i try to compile the dark game exmaples i get loads of errors along thease lines

error LNK2005:__crtExit already defined in LIBCMTD.lib(crt0dat.obj)
error LNK2005:_cinit already defined in LIBCMTD.lib(crt0dat.obj)
etc etc

The include and lib directories in VC for dark agame are at the top of the list.thx for your help

Make sure your project is a Windows 32 Project (and not Windows 32 Console Project).

Also make sure your not using debug mode.

Dont do anything I wouldn't do. But if you do, take pictures.

I'm starting to think DG is a complete waste of time. Don't get me wrong. I have tried Virtools, C# Programming with Direct X from Microsoft, Half-life, Dark Game, 3impact, BV Indie and about every other cheesy game engine authorware there is and they all are 10 pounds of complexity in a one pound bag that is ripped open and sold on the net as a seemless solution for indipendant game creators. Instead of waiting for FBX or anything else to solve our problems I propose we try to break down the problems with this industry into quantifiable logical chunks that can be tested while not having to test the other chunks so maybe we simple folk can get something someday to compile. I can't believe I have actually taken c# programming courses.... lol... what a waste of time... almost as big of a waste as Dark Game SDK etc.
