Hey hey!

I'm using Blender 2.41 and Ben's DirectX exporter. Is it possible to export a DBPro loadable model without any vertex weights or with vertex weights set to zero? The armature still poses and it cuts the file size down quite a bit. Unfortunately DBPro (version 6.1) crashes when trying to load the model.

It seems the skinweights in the .x file might be required. Any thoughts?

Follow-up question:

It seems as though there could be two kinds of limbs.
One that calculates texture and mesh deformation (e.g. a shoulder) when rotating and one that only rotates on a joint without worrying about texture or mesh deformation (e.g. a pendulum).

Does that make sense? And if so, does anyone know how to do that in Blender or DBPro?
