http://www.nextup.com/TextAloud/download.html

i found that its called textaloud and has a trial version to it but you can buy it as well, when its finished it gets put into a kilobyte size and not those enormouse megabyte sizes. With this im guessing you can type the text and make the sound zone for it to be said ingame so you dont have to steal from other people and other trademarked copyrighted games material.

DID YOU KNOW ? THAT THE BINARY LANGUAGE 01000110010100000101001101000011011100100110010101100001011101000110111101110010 STANDS FOR FPSCREATOR ?

Uhh... people are stealing audio?

Either Way, just search TTS on google.

In situations like this, Microsoft Sam is your best bet .

Good ol' Sammy, hasn't failed me once.

I was joking .

Plus, you could use (dare I say?) Windows Media Encoder to capture the sound. Then convert it to .wav.

There's other sound recording programs you could use, too.

I use Text Aloud. You type your text - its says it. You can output to .wav and convert if you want - I convert to .ogg myself.

Its reasonable with a lot of playing around adjusting voice parameters.

You can purchase additional voice sets of a more professional nature from various sources at the Text Aloud site to use with it for a better quality.

Such programs are still limited but its better than my recoding my own voice which sounds like a dying donkey.

I remember when SAM program came out for my Atari computer back in the day on cassete drive. Also had it on the 1050 as well when I upgraded to the floppy drive. I dont think Microsoft made the sam program. I forget who did.. Might have to dig out some old magazines of Antic or Compute.

It is microsoft sam... either way it is still TTS so it doesn't matter what the name is, just what the code is.
