How do you hook the ventilation duct to a wall?
I have tried adding a wall to it but then it blocks the ventilation duct.
Thanks for any help with this.

there should be a facing for the ventalation shaft. (a door) this should have the wall segment for it.

try placing the wall and then the vent door and then the vent shaft in that order.

Actually, I do it differently, RF.

I find it better to make the room that the vent will be accessible from first. Then I place the duct (which will remove that part of the wall), and then re-place the wall where the duct is (which block the vent like you already said, GBC). All you do then is add the vent door, and you're done!

Heh, thanks RF.

I find it easier to work with, simply because you sort of "know" where every thing is before you create the door, which I just find simpler.

But like you said, they achieve the same result, so it doesn't really matter. Hope that helps, GBC!
