Too much detail pallmanni, cut right back. 2226 polygons is too many for FPSC to handle in a complex scene. Make them as low-detailed as mine.

Avenging Eagle, i like detailed shiny stuff i am going to use this in a dark basic project... if i ever get the collision right... but since fpsc is so fancy, and i cant seem to cut from these forums i thought, why not give them the gun

Most of that detail can be created in the texture anyway. And how much of it are you going to see if the gun is only slightly to your right, with a bit of perspective, when you're playing?

i know i know but when some animation comes in like the reload sequence, you can really show off the details

its good, but I think that you should reduce poligons number, you would be able to substitute pistol's furrows for normal mapping for example.

It looks like you've got quite a bit of inside geometry. Are you going to animate the recoil?

When you shoot a bullet, the force exerted on the barrel of the gun (i.e, the explosion the makes the bullet go) causes the guns to go backwards. However, because there is usually a person holding the gun, it tends to tilt backwards.
