The textures on the house need tiling more, the planks are too big and the bricks need to be smaller. Its all good besides that.

Thats quite nice, however as Higgins said it looks like a mini house. Just increase the tiling on all of the house textures, and the grass could be tiled a little more as well.

I think the term is: mouse house.

thanks alot guys. im adding to the scene alittle cause i kinda like it. i made it alittle brighter. turned up the tiling. turned up the sampling. and added some ambient objects. and trying to get ambient occlusion to work but its being a beast with my alpha maps. so ill give you an update alittle later.

I know another reason it looks small. That's because the roof peaks way above the top of the door. So if you were say as tall as the door, then the roof would be way up, like a second storey, so it really needs a top window or higher door.

take the vase away and make a wheel, make the door taller and put a roof window, change the rock textures, eliminate the wood logs, but put wood sawn truncks on the field, to look like a lodger leaves in the cabinet

Ben, to make the door way more fun to look at, add some side panels to it, just to add more detail. The door does have to a little taller though.

It'd make a good hen house though.

Nice work, I think the grass could do with scaling down a bit

I think its a great start. Only comment I would make, from a novice 3D artist myself, is put a door frame in and make it a touch bigger to overset the large space between the door and roof, or an attic window.

The trees look really good! And I would tone down the grass a little bit, make it a touch darker, less shine.
