How many polygons should a (custom made) character, static or dynamic entity have in a typical fpsc-game?

1000-2000 Is probably a good amount of polygons. The lower, the better.

Black Terror is right, 1000-2000 is a good range. Some of the characters included with FPSC are actually under 1000 faces, and they still look great.

indeed, don't be afraid of low polly, as the engine accually renders it quite well and smoothed out.

JEEZ!You people just STFU! You waste more space complaining about people wasting space than the people your bashing! Man, I thought I had no life.

One man must have 42 polys to be complete. I did it, I found the question!!!

We all have our inner noob. Join the NJL, we have more fun!
I believe society is flawed; our notions on life, on child rearing, stem too far back to be of relevance in this day and time.
