I was bored yesterday and I was playing Mario DS and then I got inspiration to make some characters. I started on Bowser and then I was all like, "nah, too tired to make something good" so I made a goomba and a bob-omb. I'm going to upload it in a sec and then edit this message. (I don't know why...) Crit or whatever is welcome but I don't really feel like working on them more so they'll stay flawed Btw each is fully rigged and animated walking. (might be bg characters in my movie)

[EDIT]
Here's the first...

And some bob-ombs (or spheres with a cylinder )

Hm... they're subdivision objects right now. I'll have to convert them to polygons but they'll be pretty high. It's only used for renders and some animation so it's ok for me Thanks for the input and I'll have the count next time I post.

I made a mario inspired model a few months ago too, and gave it away on the DBP chat board:

I like yours too!

The models, and terrain should be made into a dual effort game.

Hehe, I'd love to make a mario-esque game. I suck at programming though. Someday...

Oh, and polycounts; i converted the subdivs to polies and got about 650

My friend had an emulator which dumped out the WRL file of whatever level it was playing, and he gave it to me, and I cleaned it up in 3ds max and imported it into my game for a test run. I've been considering posting it since so many people could play with it, but currently I fear laws.

Hey guys, this isn't mario themed, but I figured why waste another post on it... I was watching Finding Nemo and got inspired. Then failed horribly

Well, I was looking at a fish in a book as reference. It was some kind of weird fish I don't know what it's called. The fins actually look like in the picture. (I mean as best I could) The tail is kind of different from the reference though. I hope that explains... I wish I could just show the picture lol
