Ive just modelled a Daddy long legs spider. Ive got a few uses for him, such as a RPG monster. Comments are welcome but remember I will need to fix some things.

Looks nice, but the way it's legs come out of it's body looks a bit fat and weird.

because that side is moving forward, each leg on that side is a bit higher than the last one. Your eyes just cant see it.

I have editing to do on it before I texture it, but I thought it would be nice to show the basic model. I also have a slug model, you can see it if you visit my site and click images.

AGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! My Arachnephobia just kicked in.

It looks nice, and very alien like (to ditto Pincho) However I would try to emphasis how spiders are more segmented than all together, I'd use referance images to see how a spider really looks.

I did use a reference photo Musashi:

The body is all one part, but now I compare them, my spiders body is fatter, maybe he had the golden fly web?

Aren't those spiders called harvest men? Daddy long legs are those annoying insects that fly around the garden.

@Higgins oh right, what a weird spider...Well your model looks like it, so its a good job I'd say, except as said, the body is way fatter, it looks so fat the legs would break trying to carry it

Yeah they are called harvest men, but every one I know calls them daddy long legs. Back when I was 10 or so, there where loads of them under the tops of walls in our road, there probably are still some there now.

Ill probably fix the body at some point, but I have to much stuffto do right now.

actually I think the 'daddy long legs' are different to harvestmen, they just have a small dot for their legs, whereas the daddy long legs' have a kinda long body.
They are actually called crane fly
