as up until now i've been using WinMe/Win2k - even though i've had XP Home installed before, still never used it much and it was all setup to look just like Me
Well now i have Pro, and actually I kinda got used to the new look - however something odd with DarkEdit 1.56
If you notice the DarkEdit window controls; Min - Restore/Max - Quit are well bigger than they actually are

Someone pass this along as i'd like this fixed if possible, as i keep minimising it when all i wanna do is make it Max!

just in case people want to snazz up their DarkEdit ->>
a few button skins
DarkBasic 1.x >> http://www.lycos.co.uk/TimeSaga/darkbasic/db.zip
DarkBasic Pro >>http://www.lycos.co.uk/TimeSaga/darkbasic/dbpro.zip
FMTau >>http://www.lycos.co.uk/TimeSaga/darkbasic/fmt.zip
Unzip the zips into the DarkEdit directory

Dude............................................................. U really have to LEARN XP b4 make critics on it....
U are using the standart Win XP Buttons that, by default are big. Right click in your desktop and choose properties. There, choose "Theme" and put insted "Windows Classic".
That should fix all buttons to what u are more used to see. Be patient, learn a new OS is not so simple and takes time. Notice this "problem" is not only with DarkEdit but with ALL WINDOWS U OPEN"....

no it isn't i've not had another program that suffers from it yet... only DarkEdit and the MAIN window only at that!

I don't want to go back to WinME options - i mean what the hell is the point in a desktop thats nice and colourful if i can't bloody use it cause one program is bugged??

raven's right on this one (although he may not be alive after my army of monkeys get him).

dark edit's buttons for min/max/restore/exit are some hybrid thing that Guy (or one of the tools he uses) put together. they are not normal, system-drawn buttons.
