I am trying to make a Fps war series. The first game will be set in world war 1, reason being that at the moment there are to many world war 2 games on the market and I would like to make something a bit different. All the models in the game will be made by the team and all the animations. During the game you will play as the British and the French as they were the leading countries of the allies side in WW1. I will need : two modelers, one animator, one tester, and one helper. Will post more tommorow, sorry for the lack of info at the moment. Also you will be playing in all the real main missions in the war.

And here is my program so far...

Sorry for the flame, but this will probably be one of the least rude replies you're gonna get.

Please don't post team requests in the TGC forum. It annoys nearly everyone.

Sorry I have a small bit of info main info tommorow. The current name is World of war and the main mission will be The battle in france-the battle of the Marne and the trench battle in France. All the gun sounds in the game will be real recordings and each rifle will have it's own-look through site funtion for better aiming.

I am saying that all you will get out of this thread is a ton of flames, not people joining your group...

sorry, but without screenies, you'll get no credence. Try getting some screenies and code man, then we'll take you more seriously.

The reason I posted was because I needed to get a team for the game and I didn't know how to, when I had the team I would post screens and info. sorry.

If you aren't capable of making any part of it yourself, you have no business posting a team request. In addition, this board is solely for projects in progress.

No one will join your project if you've got nothing to show. Why would someone capable of making a game do it for you?

Tut, tut. That's a big no, no. People do not want to join a team if there is no evidence of work-in-progress. Get some screenshots ready before you make a thread. That way you save yourself from embarrassment.

Before any team may aproach you youmust post atleast:

1-StoryLine
2-Screenshots
3-Progress
4-Demo?
5-Get ready your flame-protective suit.

Thats what i would do...

No bacon then?

@Conor, just a general forum tip, read the stickies that don't look like they're games or contests or such like, each section has them, they tend to have guidelines for the section on how no to get flamed, unfortunately this forum is extremely strict on team requests, we would all really appreciate it when more people pay attention to the stickies as there are types of threads that wind people up.

If you learn from your mistakes, no matter how stupid you act, you are not a n00b.

N00bs keep doing the same thing, and don't learn from their mistakes.

So that means you are not a n00b, unless you do it again, of cource.

ditto to UFO, except I hate the word noob, I know people will be insulted but people who call people noobs are noobs (Saying that makes me one...woohoo I'm anything kind of loser!!) But yeah we've all done our mistakes, mine being bad (not 'noobish' but offensive) But this is quite light for something stupid, so to me its not stupid, just thoughtless and easy to do

I did the same kind of thing (I don't want to say n00bish) (cause its me lol) when I joined the forum. I made another DB forum (which didn't stay undeleted for long ), and I had a very childish name and avatar (It was VERY childish lol). But I got into the flow of the forum and nothing like that happened again. And I lived happily ever after.

The End

lol...

I think my first post was: "I'm starting a team for beginner to intermediate programmers and poeple who want to get into the experience" (something like that) I got flamed like crazy, but at the time, I had no idea what flaming was so I was like un-affected

yeah, some of my old posts are horrifying , lol. But once you get the hang of the forums and how things work, its not bad . If you make it through the flames and the bashing at the beginning, you'll be whipped into shape and fit right in .
