For some reason when I load models from Ani8or into DBPro, they don't have ambient lighting. Is there an option I should set.

Thanks.

Well, I'm not really good at programming, but I believe there is a command in there like:
Hope that helps. I don't really know though.

They should work fine. I don't know what is happening to your models.

I compared a cube with my model by spinning them, and the cube lighted up on one side as it spun, but my model didn't.

I see. Well ambient lighting is supposed to be none directional... I think, so that would be light 0 that is effecting the cube. My models are effected by light 0 from Anim8or, but it might make a difference that I UV map my models in Lithunwrap, and then Export them from there. So really my models are Lithunwrap models in the end.

Hmm, that might affect it.

I have tried making a model in Wings to test it, but just can't figure out how to texture it so I can UV map it!

There are lots of UV map tutorials around, and it's very easy to do. Almost as easy as cut/n/paste.

@Uncle Sam: after exporting the UV Map, and saving over the original export, right click your UV Map image in the outliner window, and select refresh. Problem solved.

Ok, I see now that it is Wings, but can't find refresh! Arg!!

EDIT: you can export the UV map? As you can see, I'm new to this program.

Sorry I didn't come back to thread or read email soon enough, that's my bad.

[EDIT] Aha, my instructions weren't completely correct. You don't export persay, you right click and choose: "make external", not export, but other then that, the instructions were correct.

NP.

Hmm, for some reason I don't have that option.

I have "Edit Material", "Assign to Select", "Select", "Duplicate", "Delete", and "Rename".

LOL, you're right clicking the material, not the UV Map.

Look at the image I posted closely. Notice that the fence material(the one with the [] with an M in it) is not the one selected. Instead, the UV Map(the checker'd []) is selected and right clicked.
