To stop cattle getting into other fields or onto roads. Its an easy means of geting cars and such past, without opening a gate.

Ahh yes I've seen these at large animal preserves. The gate is small enough for tires to roll over but the holes are big enough that if a cow tries to cross its hoof will slip between the bars and discourage the cow from moving any more forward. Nice job, We just need cows to put behind it now.

Its good texture practice for me though. Iam doing small things, like these freebies Iam giving away, untill I get good with texturing.

I can think of a few other uses, as well as just generic scenery, like maybe floor drains in a factory. Nice work!
