Of course it doesn't! Read the thread, this was due as an add on to FPSC, and they are prepping a quick .dll release for DBP out of the goodness of their hearts (and commercial accumin). They aren't gonna suddenly remove commands - people would just stick with an earlier release of DBP.

doesnt darkbasic have existing lightmapping commands that are hidden but can be used? are these the ones used for FPSC currently?

This is now available to buy and download (no pre-order required). We have also released a demo of the EDITOR that comes with it, so you can at least have a quick play and see what it can do, even if you can't mess with the DLL itself.
